Hello, I've had a tenant for the past 2 years after the first 6 month AST ended we went on a Statutory Periodic Agreement this seems ok but I have since been advised that there ought to be a current dated A.S.T. in place. I feel that as most peoples finances have changed of late we would be better having an new agreement? Can I just issue a renewal Agreement document? If so does RLA have a printed one. The Agent who issued the 1st 6 month Agreement has quoted £90.00 plus VAT to issue a renewal agreement which seems quite expensive. We manage the apartment ourselves but he says that's the standard charge to everyone for a renewal. Hope you can help. R and T
