Can you have separate tenancy agreement for each tenant

We have a 4 bed flat which we have rented on an annual collective shorthold tenancy agreement in the past. The flat is mainly suited to single professionals sharing. Can it be rented on the basis that each individual tenant signs their own 1 year agreement.
