I am sceptical. Given the 7% interest rate and possible deterrent to tenants of taking on a house with the debt loaded on the electricity meter (will they understand or trust the Golden Rule?)I am not sure if this is worth bothering with. I wonder how expensive the licensed contractors will be. I wonder if they will fit a decent boiler all in for less than £1000 as I get at present. What do other landlords think? And yes I have been on the RLA course which gave lots of information but did not really weigh the issues from a landlord's perspective.
