Hi
I am a 1st time landlord, and am planning on using the RLA AST. My future tenant has questioned C1 in relation to their own furniture. They say that their furniture is mostly antique, rather than modern so is unlikly to meet modern fire safety standards. Is it reasonable for this clause to be removed? If so do I need to add an addendum in relation to their responsibility (financial and otherwise) should there be a fire, and if so can you suggest wording?

Many thanks

k
