I was in a rented accommodation and I gave my landlady a months notice. Due to the desperation of the next tenants to move in early I was able to move out 2 days earlier to accommodate both the letting agents and the tenants.

However, I have been charged for the 2 days that I had moved out. Is this correct? I believe they should only charge me rent on the day that I moved out when I handed in the key.
Please advice me.
