I am selling my BTL property and have agreed that the purchaser can let it for 6 weeks prior to completion. The let will only commence once we have exchanged contracts and 10% of the sale price is drawn down, so I believe that I'm fairly well covered financially.

Is there a short term agreement that I could offer her to get something formal in writing?
