Please advise we have a tenant who is £3,500 behind with their rent! This tenant pays £70 per week which is not covering the rent, hence the debt is not being cleared down, The Stepfather of the tenant is a guarantor and has signed the guarantee. However the tenant has fallen out with the stepfather and the stepfather refuses to pay until the girl leaves the property! What is our legal position? What can we do?
