I pay approx £100 for my Gas checks, but that is just for an 'on demand' boiler & hob - no fire.

My properties are in the South East.

Did you not ask for a quote before instructing them to carry out the work?

I would probably get a comparative quote from another Corgi Co and if substantially less then refuse to pay or negotiate a lower price.
