I have just received a letter from Digital UK, who claim to be not-for-profit and responsible for leading the switchover programme. The letter suggests that, as a landlord, I may be responsible for installing equipment in my properties that facilitates the reception of digital TV.

Currently, my properties have the normal analogue equipment and I would like to know, please, if providing upgraded TV reception equipment will be obligatory for landlords:
a) In properties currently occupied
b) For new tenancies created after the switchover in my region.

Your assistance is appreciated and I look forward to hearing from you in due course.
