In Dec we are moving from our family home to live about 100 miles away. We have got a second mortgage on new house where we will live and applied for a BTL mortgage on the "old" family home, hoping it will pay for itself for 5 or 6 years.
We have an aquaintance interested in renting - what do we need to know, as complete novices?
We really don't want to use an agent, we hope to manage this ourselves. We need to know what to do to be legal. Fropm A to Z.
