We have a recently signed Assured tenancy agreement with our tenants, which states that no alterations may take place without the landlord's prior permission.

We have noticed that the tenant has just modified a greenhouse which he had previously put up before the agreement by replacing the glass with boards to make it a shed. It is against the wall of the house and within the ground area of the rented property.

Should we write to him or is this within his rights?
