As discussed yesterday with Brian, Hyndburn BC are attempting to bring in the above scheme by October 1st. This has been done with virtually no consultation with the landlords and has caused a great deal of concern. We are forming an action group first to postpone and then hopefully alter the scheme. My request was

1. What is the experience of other neighbouring authorities in the introduction of similar schemes. Could RLA advise how this is being handled elsewhere

2. What practical assistance can the RLA offer in making representation to Hyndburn.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks
