I have tenants on a periodic tenancy and have issued them with the form to increase the rent. They are saying that they should be given 6 months notice as their original tenancy was for 6 months. I understand this differently... I think I only need to give them one months notice (as it happens I had given them 2 months). Who is correct me or the tenant?
