We have a mortgage with Bank of Scotland. Around Nov/Dec we missed one monthly payment. My partner phoned the bank to make arrangement to pay the arrears but which the bank accepted. However the bank still decided to raise our monthly payment by over twenty pounds per month. We have since paid back the arears but the bank has refused to take our monthly payment back to the contracted amount.

What can we do?
