I have a 6 bed property over 3 floors. The property was designed for student accomodation but subsequently sold to private landlords. I'm in the process of applying for an HMO licence but GMAC by BTL mortgage provider says that they do do grant permission for HMOs. Has anyone come across this issue. What recourse do i have.
