We have a tenant who is renting a part furnished property from us. The tenant says the bathroom cabinet door fell off after she had a bath and has made a hole in the bath and she says the landlord should repair as it is his cabinet. The landlord says she should repair it has the cabinet door was not loose before she moved in. I did take photos of the cabinet and opened the door and took photos and the door wasnt loose. The tenant also signed the inventory and returned it to us without mentioning there was a problem with the cabinet. Who legally has to repair the hole in the bath?
