when the apartment was built 5 years ago it came with a credit meter. we let to professionals not claiming LHA and over the 5 years have successfully changed tenants several times, simply giving meter readings at tenant changeover. recent tenant got made redundant and panicked into changing the meter to a prepayment meter without our knowledge. they left yesterday and EOn are now refusing to change to a credit meter unless i agree to cover any shortfall in payments forevermore. any views?
