Can you throw some light on this please. Do I need to have the electrical installation inspected every time a new tenant occupies the property. What constitutes an inspection.I have received varying opinions from a full electrical inspection by a qualified electrician to a visual inspection of sockets etc. to ensure they are not cracked.
A full inspection every time a tenant changes would be very expensive but all the stuff I have read do not give any clear guidance.
What to do?
