We have a 3 (converting to 4) bed house in Salford.
Salford insist our application be accompanied, as per their "validation checklist", by:
a) A Student Accommodation statement
b) A Crime Prevention plan

This seems to us, ridiculous.
a) Most of the stuff in the Student Accommodation plan is information that Salford planners must themselves have, and requiring us to research and regurgitate it is just bloody minded. Of course we will be happy to provide contingency plans if we fail to attract students
b) As far as I can see, none of the Crime Plan requirements apply to us.

Do you have any experience of dealing with this?

Thanks for any advice. Irvin
