Service charge demands (leaseholders rights and obligations)

Hello all, I have been asked to become a director of a freehold management company (all the residents own the freehold).As this is the first leasehold property I have invested in I have been reading up on the statutory rights etc. One point that requires to be put into practice is to do with the service charge demands, at the moment no copy of the leaseholders rights and obligations is sent out with the demand. Is there a template copy we can use or is it advisable to seek the advice of a solicitor and get one drawn up.
Any help would be much appreciated.
