Estate Agency ok to collect rent for me?

Hi. Could you tell me please what I need to look out for if the Estate agent wishes to collect the rent and then transfer to me? Is there for example any regulatory body they should be members of / what protection against them not transferring the rent to me should I look out for?

I would prefer the tenant to pay me directly but the Agent wants to set up a good relationship with this company for future company lets.
