A prospective tenant is asking whether we allow pets in the property. They have 2 dogs and a cat. We are concerned about the damage these animals may cause to the property and are wondering whether it is allowed/ reasonable to say that we will allow these pets if the tenant pays an additional 2 weeks deposit per loose animal on top of the usual month of deposit we would ask anyone without an uncaged pet? So that this particular prospective tenant would need to pay 2.5 months deposit in case of damage to the property by their pets.
