Hi,

I have two tenants moving into a flat in the next two weeks. One is a student nurse earning £10k per year and the other has a wage of £24k.

The rent is £800 pcm. Should the tenant with the higher wage in this case be lead tenant? The nurse wants to be lead tenant but I am concerned what might happen in the event the relationship breaks down and one of them moves out. Hopefully this won't happen, but you never know . . .

Thanks
