A landlord wants us to impose a term in new contract which I am not easy with as follows:

A note to be added to new Agreements that if a washing machine is in the property then it is the tenants responsibility to maintain/ repair not the landlords, any repairs made does not give the tenant the right to take the washing machine with them at the end of the tenancy. If the washing machine is deemed uneconomical to repair then it’s the tenants responsibility to have the old machine removed or replaced. If the tenant does have to replace the machine then they are able to take this with them at the end of the tenancy.

what do you think?
