We went to ADR dispute over a large unpaid electric bill in the tenants name. When the tenant left they advised the utility company the right reading to get a final bill to show us (to get their bond)but then called the utility company and changed it to a much lower reading leaving a big gap between tenants that would eventually be sent out to `the occupier'. I found this out by chance when I called the utility company so refused to return the bond until he had proved he had paid the final bill to the right reading.

He did a single claim at the DPS and we lost because we couldn't prove it has caused us a loss! YET. This is despite it being a term in the contract to pay all final bills. So far the electric provider haven't issued a bill to us using the wrong reading but they have six years to do it.
