I let a bungalow in a quiet residential area. The prospective tenant owns an Alaskan Malmute (husky type) dog. They intend to keep the dog in its kennel in the garden all the time. I want to remain on friendly terms with the neighbours. What enquiries can I / should I make and to whom to ascertain if their dog is suitable. If I decide to let it - what reasonable stipulations can I add to the tenancy agreement. If I don't accept this tenant I am confident I will find another. Has anyone had experience (good or bad) of letting to a tenant with an Alaskan Malmute?
