I have selected a tenant who has been referenced and credit checked successfully. He was upfront about his partner living with him but she is not currently working.

Is there any issues with me granting a single tenancy in his name or is it advisable to make it a joint tenancy?

If I only have an agreement with him, what rights does his partner have?
