My tenants have divorced. Husband moved out, new boyfriend wants to move in officially. I don't want to create a new tenancy, so have asked for letters from the husband and wife agreeing that all tenancy obligations become hers, and then, after referencing, will add the boyfriend to the tenancy as a visitor. Is this, or something like it, OK?
