Now, after what i have gone through, in my opinion, the best way to set an agreement is for one year, with a 6 month break clause, protect the deposit before signing anything, get the signature for the prescribed info, and if the tenant is to continue staying do not give new AST as it will become periodic and no hassle of protecting but have to give prescribed info when it becomes periodic and from there on no need to worry about protectin and un protecting and re protecting. However, give a S21 just after getting the agreement signed. Any thoughts on this?. Every one's input welcome.
