Hi,
My DSS tenant is expecting her third child and is living in a one-bed flat that she rents from me. Therefore, there will soon be 5 of them living in the flat! My tenant tells me that the council will not re-house her unless I evict her (via S21 I guess).
I have heard from other landlords that it is only when bailiffs evict tenants that the DSS will re-house tenants. So, it will cost me time and money if I agree to go down this route.
Also, I think there is no guarantee that the council will quickly re-house them. They may end up in B&B for months!
This tenant has been in my properties since 2008 and has been generally Ok. So i am happy to help her, but i want to avoid any negative repercussions.
Does anyone have advice / experience of such requests from their tenants?

Thanks
