Hi, I seem to read different things about how the expenses incurred on financing a btl can be treated. Some suggest any finance related expenses are irrelivant for cgt but others dont seem to allow them as revenue expenses. So costs such as mortgage arrangement fees, broker fees, valuations, can they be deducted from the capital gain, treated as revenue expense in year purchased or neither? Hope this makes sense!! Appreciate any advice.
