Hello all,
My tenant was £100.00 short of her rent for November because her housing allowance has been cut. Now she could only manage to pay half of the rent this month. Her explanation is that the benefit office has told her that they will keep reducing her benefit each month and I don't know how far true this is. Has anyone had that sort of experience? She wants me to evict her so that the council will be compelled to re-house her as she has very young children, but eviction takes a lot of money do do so. How do I get back the money she owes.I did not take any deposit from her when she became my tenant seven years ago.
