Joint tenants (husband) moving out

Hi,

One of the two tenants (the husband) in a joint 6 month AST has moved out due to domestic problems.

He hasn't provided any written notice and now his wife wants him removed from the tenancy agreement.

The last rent payment was made in time by him. The tenancy doesn't expire until December.

Can you advise on the best way to proceed?
