I am totally confused as to whether I need to fit smoke detectors to a single occupancy 2 bedroomed terraced Victorian house. I used to fit battery operated detectors but realised that I was then responsible for any problems with batteries etc. I have tried to read the LACORS guidance but it is not very clear. Can you advise what I should be doing?
