Tenant eviction on section 8
Possession - Section 8 and Section 21

Hi

we have a tenant who has not paid rent for sometime now. We have issued section 8 notice which has now expired.

while completing the appropriate paperwork we have noticed that the name of the landlord (a Ltd company)is not correctly mentioned on the tenancy, the name for example is ABC (uk) ltd but on the tenancy it is mentioned as ABC Ltd but the deposit protection certificate states the correct name.

would it be advisable to notify the tenant of the error or what would be the best way forward to gain possession on section 8 basis.
