Hi, I am about to buy a property with a tenant in residence. The tenant is managed by an agent on behalf of the present owner. I manage my own tenants and would not want to use an agent.

What is the normal arrangement here? Presumably the tenant's agreement still stands but what are my responsibilities? Can I draw up a new agreement or does the old one have to run it's course?

Thanks for your help,

Mark Gallagher
