i have a tenant who has his 10 year old son at weekends and school holidays at the moment he gets £484 for a one bedroom flat has been told that he is now entiteled to a two bedroom rate of £600 as a one bedroom flat is to small for him and his son he has phoned the council who say they know nothing about this new ruling and as he does not get child benefit for his son he can only receive the one bedroom rate. has anybody heard of this new ruling as i know the council dont like telling people what they are intiteled to claim
