We have 2 small rentals owned outright and our own home also owned outright , we have a lump sum available to buy another small property but would like to buy a larger property, the trouble is we are in our later 60's and our total household income including rentals in only in the region of £26k pa. Could we access a BTL mortgage at our ages? What sort of sum ( we were thinking of around 30k to 50k, and could we have a 25year or open ended time frame so that the repayments would not be too high?
