Do you have to have a new Landlords' Gas Safety check done every time a new tenant moves in? The latest Landlords' gas safety check was done at the end of January this year; the tenant has now moved out.

The plumber called today to check over the plumbing and boiler. He told me that when a new tenants moves in I have to have another Gas Safety Certificate issued - is this right? - I thought you are able to give them a copy of the current (less then 12 months old) one.

Thanks
