Right hope this does not sound confusing, our current tenants who were due to leave on the 29th april have asked if they can stay on in the property but on a SPT, the contract that we have with them states anyway that if they stay in the property after the 29/4/14 it continues as that anyway, is there any legal issues with this, we had a new tenant lined up but we/he had not signed anything. Would be change the title of the contract to SPT and not a AST?
