Hello, can anyone answer any of these questions re: Section 21? I understand that a mistake on the paperwork is pretty much the only defence by tenant against successful removal of tenant via Section 21.

1 If my original AST is made out with both mine and my partner's name as landlords and the most recent rla AST is made out only in my name is this a potential problem with the paperwork?

2 If the most recent rla ATS does not have a witness signature would this be considered a fault in the paperwork?

3 On the subject of witness signatures, would a family member (ie landlord's father) be a suitable witness or would it have to be an independent person?

New landlord, so much to learn!
