Hi All,
Monday 26th May 2014 saw the launch of the London Rental Standard and RLAAS (The RLA’s landlord accreditation scheme) is proud to be an approved partner of the London Rental Standard.
The London Rental Standard is a voluntary set of minimum standards that are expected of landlords, letting agents and managing agents who operate in London.
The Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, will be actively encouraging tenants to check that their landlord or agent is accredited and similarly, all landlords and agents operating within the capital will be encouraged to join an LRS recognised accreditation scheme. Anyone accredited with any of the partner schemes will be able to use the London Badge on their stationary and future marketing, as long as they maintain their accredited status.
There are many direct and indirect benefits of obtaining recognition under the scheme, some of which can be found on our new LRS page on the RLAAS website (See:
www.rlaas.co.uk/london-rental-standard).
As RLAAS is a national scheme, it doesn't matter where your properties are located or how many properties you have.
To join RLAAS, you do not have to a member of any asscoitation and registration is free.
