Another expense - is this ever tax deductible?
- Council tax when property is empty due to refurb work or between tenancies? This once happened because management company of the block delayed getting a huge hole repaired in the common landing ceiling for 2 months and no-one would rent it, unsuprisingly!
- Gas, water and electric when empty for refurb works? (Although I imagine this is included in refurb costs so not allowed?)

Les - I have ordered the tax guides!
