What is the best way to manage the transfer of the tenancy agreement when purchasing a property with an existing AST?
Do we amend the existing agreement with new landlord/agent details, or create a new one, thereby starting another 6 months? HOw do we avoid a 'limbo' period while this is sorted out. Purchase solicitors do not seem to think that it is their business, and there is no point in paying solicitors if it is not necessary, they would not be involved in an AST normally.
