I have a question about the check-in inventory check.

The tenancy contract will start on 1 November. As there is delay in the delivery of kitchen cupboard doors, the kitchen will still have the old cupboard doors when then tenancy begins.

I'm wondering what is the best way to handle the check-in inventory check in this situation.

Option 1. I will have the inventory check done before the tenants move in. And when the kitchen cupboard doors arrive, take photos and add a note to the inventory report.

Option 2. I will do the inventory check after the new doors are in. It should only be four days after the tenancy starts. However, tenants will have moved in by then and we need to be careful in that tenants' stuff will be around the property.

Any suggestion would be welcome.

Thanks,

Sandro
