Credit check shows what?

I have just done an RLA credit check. It uses Call Credit and costs £10. In this case I have seen passport identification for the applicant but not proof of address. She has moved around a lot and not been able to show me any proof of address. So I did the search at the address she has applied for hoping it might show me her linked addresses but it showed no other addresses. I put in her full name and dob. If the Call Credit check can only investigate the address you put in then it is of little value as tenants will frequently not tell you about the addresses where they have left trouble. Or does it verify the address you put in and then find linked addresses?

I would like to know more from RLA about what this service covers and what it does not cover in helping me check out an applicant.
