Following on from previous posts, this was eventually resolved (last week). Other than a cursory glance to make sure it didn't cancel the guarantorship, the judge ignored the deed. He said he relied on the clause in the original tenancy agreement, and the deed was merely clarification to somebody who may not understand the nature of a rollover to a periodic tenancy.
