Dear RLA,

I joined recently and am grateful for the advice I received in the last couple of months.

I have a specific question that was sort of covered in a webinar about gaining access to my property after a tenancy.

I wasn't able to access the flat for a number of weeks in May because the agency failed to give me the correct keys.

I think it was 10 days in the cross over between the two tenancies.

I am now being chased for council tax by Islington Council for that time, I'm not sure I'm liable. Is this correct?

Elizabeth
