Rent in advance instead of guarantors

My super-keen young couple, who want to move into our cottage next Friday, have now offered 3 months rent in advance (plus the 6 weeks deposit) rather than continue with the hassle of getting their guarantors through referencing.

The AST is for 6 months, with the option to run on if all is ok, they want to stay on and we do not need the property back for employee.

Opinions please on whether this is a good idea (the thought of just being able to finalise the documents and get some money into the bank account - have builder/decorator/electrician to pay - is definitely very attractive).
