Hi. As well as owning individual flats which I rent out on ASTs I also rent out an annex which adjoins my residence which I rent out on a Non-Assured Tenancy agreement. This annex has its own entrance and we don't share any parts of our house.
We would like to market our property for sale and having read the agreement which states we must give our tenant at least one months notice to vacate the property we gave her 2 months notice as a good will gesture. She has now come back to us stating that because of Coronavirus she is entitled to stay longer and we need to give her 6 months notice. I realise this is the case with ASTs but does the same apply to Non-Assured Tenancy Agreements?
Kind Regards
